Inverleven distillery var et Lowland single malt skotsk whisky-destilleri i Dumbarton, Skotland.[1][2]

Historie

Inverleven skotsk single malt-destilleriet blev opført i 1938 som en del af det større Dumbarton-kompleks (som også omfattede et stort grain-destilleri) af Hiram Walker & Sons med det formål at levere spiritus til deres Ballantine's-blend.[3]

Hiram Walker solgte senere destilleriet til Allied Distillers. Pernod Ricard opkøbte Allied Domecq i 2005 og lagde virksomheden ind under sit datterselskab Chivas Brothers.[4]

Inverleven lukkede i 1991.[5][1]

I 2005 købte Bruichladdich i Port Charlotte på Islay Inverlevens stills for at bruge dem dér.[6]

Inverleven blev revet ned i 2006.[5]
