Станом на 11 червня 2023 року ЗСУ не звільнили Благодатне від окупаційних військ Росії. Але через схожість назв подію звільнення населеного пункту часто-густо плутають зі звільненням села Благодатне (Великоновосілківська селищна громада), що в Волноваському районі. [3].
