Serapski mir (perzijski: عهدنامه سراب, turski: Serav Antlaşması) je bio sporazum između Osmanskog Carstva i Safavidskog Carstva nakon rata 1615–1618. Sporazum je potpisan 26. septembra 1618. u Sarabu.

Pozadina

Nasuh-pašinim sporazumom iz 1612. Osmansko Carstvo je pristalo da vrati Kavkaz i sjeverozapadni Iran Safavidskom Carstvu. Safavidsko Carstvo je s druge strane pristalo da plaća godišnji danak od 200 tovara svile kao dio reparacije.[1] Međutim, šah Abas I je odbio platiti danak. Rat je obnovljen 1615.

Rat

Osmanlijski glavni komandant veliki vezir Okuz Kara Mehmed-paša pokušao je da zauzme Jerevan (današnja Armenija) koji je nedavno napušten Nasuh-pašinim sporazumom, ali je povukao opsadu nakon 44 dana jer nije bilo napretka. Meta sljedećeg vrhovnog komandanta Damat Halil-paše bio je Ardabil. Ovog puta Abas je tražio mir.

Uslovi

Uslovi sporazuma su bili slični onima iz Nasuh-pašinim sporazumom sa nekoliko manjih korekcija granične linije.[2] Također, godišnji danak perzijske strane smanjen je sa 200 na 100 tovara svile.[3]

Posljedice

Ovaj sporazum je pokazao da je postignuta pat pozicija između Osmanskog i Safavidskog Carstva, te da nijedna strana nije mogla ostvariti značajne teritorijalne dobitke na duge staze. U narednim decenijama bilo je trenutaka kada su Osmanlije uspjele da zauzmu Tabriz, a bilo je i trenutaka kada su Perzijanci uspješno zauzeli Bagdad. Sve ove pobjede su bile privremenog karaktera i ravnoteža snaga između dvije države se nastavila sve do 20. vijeka.
