Mazmur 26 (disingkat Maz 26, Mzm 26 atau Mz 26; penomoran Septuaginta: Mazmur 25) adalah sebuah mazmur dalam bagian pertama Kitab Mazmur di Alkitab Ibrani dan Perjanjian Lama dalam Alkitab Kristen. Mazmur ini digubah oleh Daud.[1][2]

Ayat 2

Ujilah aku, ya TUHAN, dan cobalah aku; selidikilah batinku dan hatiku. [3]

Ayat 6

Aku membasuh tanganku tanda tak bersalah, lalu berjalan mengelilingi mezbah-Mu, ya TUHAN,[4]

Frasa "aku akan membasuh" dalam bahasa Latin adalah satu kata "lavabo". Kata "lavabo" sekarang dipakai untuk menyebut ritual pembasuhan tangan oleh imam dalam Gereja Katolik Roma sesudah persiapan persembahan.[5]

Ayat 8

TUHAN, aku cinta pada rumah kediaman-Mu dan pada tempat kemuliaan-Mu bersemayam.[6]

Tradisi Yahudi

Ayat 8 merupakan baris ketiga dari doa pujian Ma Tovu ("Alangkah indahnya).[7]
