จักรพรรดิโกะ-เรเซ (ญี่ปุ่น: 後冷泉天皇; โรมาจิ: Go-Reizei-tennō; 28 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1025[1] – 22 พฤษภาคม ค.ศ. 1068) เป็นจักรพรรดิญี่ปุ่นองค์ที่ 70[2] ตามที่ได้จัดเรียงไว้ในลำดับการสืบทอด[3]

พระนามของจักรพรรดิโกะ-เรเซนำมาจากพระนามของจักรพรรดิเรเซจักรพรรดิองค์ที่ 63 ในช่วงคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 10 โดยเมื่อใส่คำว่าโกะที่แปลว่า ที่สอง เข้าไปหน้าพระนามทำให้พระนามของจักรพรรดิโกะ-เรเซมีความหมายว่า จักรพรรดิเรเซที่สอง หรือ จักรพรรดิเรเซยุคหลัง

พระราชประวัติ

ก่อนจะขึ้นสืบราชบัลลังก์ดอกเบญจมาศ จักรพรรดิโกะ-เรเซมีพระนามเดิม[4]ว่า เจ้าชายชิกาฮิโตะ (親仁親王)[5] ประสูติเมื่อวันที่ 28 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1025 เป็นพระราชโอรสองค์ใหญ่ใน จักรพรรดิโกะ-ซุซะกุ เมื่อพระราชบิดาประกาศสละราชบัลลังก์ในวันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 1045 เจ้าชายชิกะฮิโตะที่รัชทายาทพระชนมายุ 19 พรรษาจึงขึ้นสืบราชบัลลังก์ในวันเดียวกันโดยได้เปลี่ยนปีรัชศกในปีต่อมาหลังจากนั้นอีก 2 วันอดีตจักรพรรดิโกะ-ซุซะกุก็เสด็จสวรรคต
