Resolusi 688 Dewan Keamanan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa, diadopsi pada 5 April 1991. Usai menerima surat dari perwakilan Prancis, Iran dan Turki dan menyatakan perhatian terhadap penindasan politik terhadap bangsa Irak, termasuk masyarakat di Kurdistan Irak, DKPBB mengecam penindasan tersebut dan menuntut agar Irak mengakhiri penindasan tersebut dan menghormati hak asasi manusia dari penduduknya.[1]
