Kerepek sanjai (Bahasa Indonesia: Keripik sanjai: Minangkabau: Karupuak Sanjai) adalah sejenis keropok yang terbuat dari ubi kayu parut kemudian digoreng dan diberi garam sebagai perasa. Keropok ini sangat terkenal sebagai cenderahati khas di bandar Bukittinggi, Sumatera Barat.[1]

Kerepek sanjai terdapat dalam tiga rasa:

  • Kerepek sanjai tawar adalah kerepek sanjai yang tidak menggunakan cili atau gula merah tetapi hanya dengan garam.
  • Kerepek sanjai saka adalah kerepek sanjai yang disapukan dengan gula merah.
  • Kerepek sanjai balado adalah kerepek sanjai yang berperisa balado.

Ragam Rasa

Kerepek Sanjay biasanya ada tiga rasa iaitu:

Sanjay Tawa

Sanjai jenis ini tidak beramal dan tidak bergaul (gulo anau atau saka) seperti itu jika dipanggil oleh orang asli dari sana. Walaupun begitu, kerepek sanjay asli ini ada yang sangat lucu dengan rasa agak masin (baharam) dan ada yang manis (agak bergelut)

Sanjay Saka

Sanjai jenis ini dicampur dengan saka atau gulo anau. Memiliki rasa perpaduan manis dan gurih.

Sanjay Balado

Sanjai Balado biasanya terasa manis bercampur manis dengan pedas. Bumbunnya lengket menempel di kerepek.[2]
