  • 1 Şubat - DHKP-C Militanı Ecevit Şanlı tarafından ABD Konsolosluğu önünde düzenlenen intihar saldırısı sonucu 1 güvenlik görevlisi öldü, 1 gazeteci yaralandı.
  • 15 Şubat - TBB, kadın avukatların duruşmalara başörtülü katılmalarını yasaklayan kararın yürütmesini durduran 2012 tarihli Danıştay kararını barolara gönderdi. Bu kararla kadın avukatlar için duruşmalarda uygulanan başörtüsü yasağı kalktı.

  • 22 Aralık - İzmir'deki Alaybey Tersanesi'nde yaşanan iş kazasında 8'i asker 10 kişi öldü, 24 kişi yaralandı.
