Sierp skrzyżowany z krzyżem łacińskim

Socjalizm chrześcijański (socjalchadecja) – jeden z nurtów socjalizmu utopijnego z okresu XIX wieku. W duchu chrześcijańskim krytykował efekty kapitalizmu. Domagał się sprawiedliwego społecznie podziału zysków, m.in. dzielenia się majątkiem z najuboższymi warstwami ludności. Socjalizm chrześcijański odrzucał ideę walki klas i postulował solidaryzm społeczny.

Współczesny program socjalizmu chrześcijańskiego demokratyzuje i deutopizuje ten system. Łączy niektóre zasady chadecji, takie jak przywiązanie do tradycyjnych wartości i uważanie wiary za fundament istnienia i życia, z zasadami socjalizmu, jak równość społeczna i wyrównywanie szans krzywdzonych ludzi, niezależnie od ich pochodzenia czy "klasy społecznej", jak to głosił oryginalny socjalizm.

Do znanych przedstawicieli nurtu należeli:

Ideały socjalistyczne (ściśle anarchistyczne, patrz: chrześcijański anarchizm) z chrześcijaństwem łączył również Lew Tołstoj, choć sam odżegnywał się od tych doktryn nie nazywając siebie anarchistą.

Współcześnie chrześcijaństwo z socjalizmem próbują połączyć teoretycy teologii wyzwolenia – aktywiści brytyjskiego Christian Socialist Movement (Ruch Chrześcijańskich Socjalistów).
