The Essential Barbra Streisand er det sjette samlealbumet til artisten Barbra Streisand (inkludert samleboksen Just for the Record... fra 1991). Det ble utgitt av Sony BMG som en del Essentials-serien deres. Albumet ble utgitt 29. januar 2002 og henter låter fra hele Streisands karriere. De 38 låtene dekker til sammen 26 studioalbum. Platen fikk god kritikk, blant annet av AllMusic, Aftenposten og VG. Den inneholder to nye låter: «Someday My Prince Will Come» og «You'll Never Walk Alone». The Essential Barbra Streisand ble en salgsuksess og solgte til platina i blant annet Storbritannia, Australia og USA.

I Europa heter albumet også The Ultimate Collection.
