The Walking Dead (musim ke-7)

Musim ketujuh dari The Walking Dead, sebuah seri drama horor amerika serikat pada saluran AMC, yang mulai ditayangkan pada tanggal 23 oktober 2016, dan akan terdiri dari 16 episode yang akan dibagi menjadi dua, dengan delapan episode terakhir yang akan ditayangkan pada Februari 2017.[1]

Dikembangkan untuk televisi oleh Frank Darabont, serial ini berdasarkan pada seri buku komik dengan nama yang sama oleh Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, dan Charlie Adlard. Terdiri dari beberapa produser eksekutif antara lain Kirkman, David Alpert, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Tom Luse, dan Gale Anne Hurd, dengan Gimple sebagai showrunner selama empat musim berturut-turut. Pada musim ini diperkenalkan karakter komik yang terkenal yakni Ezekiel dan harimau peliharaannya Shiva, serta lokasi Kerajaan dan tempat Kudus.[2]

Produksi

The Walking Dead diperbaharui oleh AMC untuk 16 episode di musim ketujuh pada 30 Oktober 2015.[3] Syuting untuk season 7 dimulai pada 2 Mei 2016, di Georgia.[4] Aktor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Xander Berkeley, Tom Payne, dan Austin Amelio dipromosikan ke seri reguler untuk musim ketujuh, setelah berulang peran pada musim keenam.[5]
