Katin

Katin ve norpsödoefedrin olarak da bilinen D-norpsödoefedrin, bir uyarıcı olarak işlev gören fenetilamin ve amfetamin kimyasal sınıflarının psikoaktif bir ilacıdır. Cathinone ile birlikte doğal olarak Catha edulis'te bulunur ve genel etkilerine katkıda bulunur. Yaklaşık %7-10 amfetamin potensine sahiptir.[1]

Farmakoloji

Amfetaminler, katinon ve efedrin gibi, katin de norepinefrin salgılatıcı madde (NRA) olarak işlev görür.[1] Aynı zamanda dopamin salgılatıcı madde (DRA) olarak da işlev görür.[1][2]
