Rəqəmsal sənət

Paskal Dombis tərəfindən 2008-ci il Irrasional Geometrics rəqəmsal incəsənət instalyasiyası

Rəqəmsal sənət yaradıcılıq və ya təqdimat prosesinin bir hissəsi kimi rəqəmsal texnologiyadan istifadə edən bədii əsər və ya təcrübədir. 1960-cı illərdən kompüter sənəti və multimedia sənəti də daxil olmaqla prosesi təsvir etmək üçün müxtəlif adlar istifadə edilmişdir.[1]

Bəzi ilkin müqavimətdən sonra rəqəmsal texnologiyanın təsiri rəsm, ədəbiyyat, heykəltaraşlıq və musiqi/səs sənəti kimi fəaliyyətləri dəyişdirdi, eyni zamanda şəbəkə sənəti, rəqəmsal quraşdırma sənəti və virtual reallıq kimi yeni formalar çevrildi. Daha ümumi şəkildə rəqəmsal rəssam termini incəsənət istehsalında rəqəmsal texnologiyalardan istifadə edən rəssamı təsvir etmək üçün istifadə olunur. Geniş mənada "rəqəmsal sənət" kütləvi istehsal və ya rəqəmsal media üsullarından istifadə edən müasir incəsənətdir.[2]

Rəqəmsal sənət üsulları reklamlarda əsas media tərəfindən və vizual effektlər yaratmaq üçün film istehsalçıları tərəfindən geniş şəkildə istifadə olunur. Masaüstü nəşriyyat daha çox qrafik dizaynla əlaqəli olsa da, nəşriyyat dünyasına böyük təsir göstərmişdir. Həm rəqəmsal, həm də ənənəvi rəssamlar işlərini yaratmaq üçün bir çox elektron məlumat və proqram mənbələrindən istifadə edirlər. Vizual və musiqi sənətləri arasındakı paralelləri nəzərə alaraq, rəqəmsal vizual sənətin dəyərinin ümumi qəbulunun son üç onillikdə elektron şəkildə istehsal olunan musiqinin qəbulunun artması ilə eyni şəkildə inkişaf etməsi mümkündür.[3]
