Pulau Jepang adalah sebuah pulau kecil tak berpenghuni yang berada di teluk Balikpapan (di sebelah utara dari Pulau Balang) dan secara administratif terletak pada wilayah Kecamatan Sepaku, Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia. Secara astronomis, pulau ini terletak di titik koordinat yang menghubungkan wilayah Balikpapan dengan Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara (di bagian sebelah barat).[1]
