Next to Me è un singolo del gruppo musicale statunitense Imagine Dragons, pubblicato il 21 febbraio 2018 come unico estratto dalla riedizione digitale del terzo album in studio Evolve[6].

Descrizione

Unico brano inedito presente nella riedizione di Evolve, il brano vede la partecipazione vocale della giovanissima cantante Grace VanderWaal, che supporterà inoltre gli Imagine Dragons durante il successivo tour estivo in promozione di Evolve[7]. Parlando del brano, il cantante Dan Reynolds ha detto[7]:

«Di solito non scrivo canzoni d'amore, ho iniziato a scrivere quando avevo circa 13 anni ed è stato per il bisogno di fuggire dalla scuola, dalla depressione, dal sentirsi persi, ma mai per il bisogno di sfogare sentimenti d'amore. Questa è stata la prima volta in cui ho esplorato la mia mente, la musicalità e la sonorità del romanticismo.»
