Biographie

Angélica María naît à La Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, d'Arnold Hartman, entrepreneur et producteur de théâtre américain et de Angélica de Jesús Ortiz Sandoval. Alors qu'elle est âgée de cinq ans, ses parents divorcent et sa mère s'installe avec elle à Mexico.

Sa fille, Angélica Vale, est également actrice et chanteuse.
