Unge Høyres Landsforbund on vuonna 1922 perustettu norjalainen poliittinen nuorisojärjestö, jonka emopuolue on Høyre.[2] Unge Høyre on jäsenmäärältään Norjan toiseksi suurin poliittinen nuorisojärjestö AUF:n jälkeen.[1]

Historia

Høyre-puolueelle alkoi muodostua paikallisia nuorisojärjestöjä suuriin kaupunkeihin jo 1800-luvun lopussa. Vuonna 1922 perustettiin maanlaajuinen järjestö, Unge Høyres Landsforbund, jonka ensimmäiseksi puheenjohtajaksi valittiin Lorentz Vogt. Suurimmillaan se oli 1970-luvulla noin 40 000 jäsenellään.[2]

Politiikka

Unge Høyre kuvailee itseään liberaalikonservatiiviseksi. Se haluaa vähentää valtion puuttumista yksilöiden elämään ja puhuu mahdollisuuksien tasa-arvosta.[3]

Järjestö on jo vuosikymmeniä kannattanut Norjan liittymistä Euroopan unioniin ja sen edeltäjiin.[2]

Kansainvälinen yhteistyö

Unge Høyre on jäsenenä yhteistyöjärjestöissä Pohjoismaiden konservatiivinuoret[4], Euroopan kansanpuolueen nuoret[5] ja International Young Democrat Union[6].
