Grandevent estas komunumo en la distrikto Vaŭda Nordĵuraso en Kantono Vaŭdo, Svislando. Ĝi havis 223 loĝantojn je la 31-a de decembro 2012.

Geografio

La komunumo Grandevent situas sur la suda flanko de la montoĉeno Chasseron en la Ĵurasa Montaro, proksimume 7 kilometrojn nordokcidente de la distriktĉefurbo Yverdon-les-Bains. La komunumo konsistas el la vilaĝo Grandevent, la setlejo Vers-chez-Grison kaj la alpopaŝtejo Le Grand-Brelingard, kaj kelkaj izolitaj bienoj.[1]

La teritorio de la komunumo etendiĝas sur areo de 3,45 km², de kiuj 42,0% estas kovritaj de arbaro, 54,8% servas por agrikulturo kaj 3,2% por setlado. [2]

Historio

La unua dokumenta mencio de Grandevent datiĝas nur el la 16-a jarcento kiel Grandevens. Ĝis 1730 Grandevent apartenis al la Majorejo Fiez, tiam post ties divido Grandevent fariĝis memstara komunumo. Post la Helveta Revolucio ĝi estis atribuita al la Distrikto Grandson, kiu kun efiko de la 1-a de januaro 2008 surbaze de la administra reformo de 2006 estis integrita al la nova Distrikto Vaŭda Nordĵuraso.[3]
