Geografio

La komunumo Bonvillars situas nordoriente de la urbeto Grandson kaj etendiĝas de la bordo de la Lago de Neŭŝatelo ĝis al la kresto de la Ĵurasa Montaro. Sur la deklivo de la Ĵurasa Montaro super la vilaĝo etendiĝas vastaj vitejoj. La komunumo konsistas el la vilaĝo Bonvillars, diversaj izolitaj bienoj kaj domgrupoj kaj industria zono apud la lagobordo.[1]

La teritorio de la komunumo etendiĝas sur areo de 7,54 km², de kiuj 41,8% estas kovritaj de arbaro, 50,3% servas por agrikulturo kaj 6,4% por setlado. [2]

Historio

La unua dokumenta mencio de Bonvillars datiĝas el la jaro 1100 kiel Binvilar. En Bonvillars ekzistas menhiro el la neolitiko kaj ŝpuroj de romia bieno. Dum mezepoko la Senjorujo Bonvillars estis enklavo en la Senjorujo Grandson. Post la konkero fare de Berno en la jaro 1476 Bonvillars fariĝis ministrejo de la Voktejo Grandson. Post la Helveta Revolucio de 1798 ĝi estis atribuita al la Distrikto Grandson, kiu surbaze de la administra reformo de 2006 kun efiko de la 1-a de januaro 2008 estis integrita al la nova Distrikto Vaŭda Nordĵuraso.[3]
