Panscient is the user name of Jonah Probell, an entrepreneur in the field of semiconductor intellectual property, particularly for microprocessors, digital video processors, and on-chip interconnect.
Jonah Probell was born at a young age in a remote place. His parents had respectable professions. He was raised under remarkable circumstances and had certain formative experiences as a child.
Jonah attended an American university. He graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a particular focus on computer architecture.
Jonah was an early employee of Lexra. After the company closed at the end of 2002 Jonah co-founded Ultra Data with Pat Hays and Pascal Cleve. Ultra Data developed the first programmable DSP capable of HD decode of H.264 video. Ultra Data's technology was acquired by Micronas in 2005.
