Pre-season and friendlies

On 8 May, the club announced a four-day pre-season training camp in Alicante.[14] At the end of May, Town confirmed their first friendly fixture, versus Cheltenham Town.[15] On June 4, a second friendly fixture was confirmed, against Brackley Town.[16] Ten days later, a third friendly was added versus Norwich City.[17] A fourth friendly fixture was confirmed, away against King's Lynn Town.[18] On 16 July, the club also confirmed a fixture for the pre-season training camp in Spain, versus La Unión Atlético.[19]
