The 2024–25 season is the 157th season in the existence of Sheffield Wednesday and the club's second season back in the Championship. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.

On 2 July, Wednesday confirmed their away strip for the 2024–25 season.[5]
Note: Fixture was initially scheduled for a 15:00 kick-off, but was moved to allow supporters sufficient time after the game to watch England in UEFA Euro 2024.[8]
