Lyon Motor Works Inc. war ein US-amerikanischer Hersteller von Automobilen.[1][2]

Unternehmensgeschichte

Das Unternehmen wurde am 28. Juni 1982 in Ramona in Kalifornien gegründet.[3] Inhaber war Russell Lyon.[1][2] Im gleichen Jahr begann die Produktion von Automobilen.[2][4] Der Markenname lautete Lyon.[1][2] Nach dem 11. Mai 1992 ist nichts mehr bekannt.[5]

Fahrzeuge

Im Angebot standen hochwertige, per Hand gefertigte Fahrzeuge im Stil der 1930er Jahre.[1][2] Der Mk V war ein Roadster.[1] Ein selbst angefertigter Leiterrahmen bildete die Basis.[2] Die offene Karosserie bestand aus Paneelen aus Stahl.[2] Ein Sechszylindermotor von Jaguar leistete mit Kompressor 375 PS.[2] Von diesem Modell entstanden etwa drei Fahrzeuge, die für 150.000 US-Dollar angeboten wurden.[2]

Der Mk VI war die Ausführung als Cabriolet.[1] Er hatte wahlweise Sechszylinder- oder V12-Motoren von Jaguar, die ebenfalls aufgeladen waren.[2]
