The ship foundered in the North Sea off Scarborough , Yorkshire , United Kingdom . Her crew were rescued by the steamship Stockton ( United Kingdom ). Jantina was on a voyage from Groningen to Newcastle upon Tyne , Northumberland , United Kingdom.[ 4] [ 5]
