Ngomong sama tangan (bahasa Indonesia baku: bicara dengan tangan) adalah ungkapan untuk menolak mendengar atau berbicara dengan orang yang dianggap mengganggu.[1] Ungkapan ini berasal dari bahasa Inggris "talk to the hand", sebuah kata gaul yang berasal dari tahun 1990-an. Ungkapan ini asalnya adalah sebuah cara sarkastis seseorang yang tidak ingin mendengar lawan bicaranya.[2] Ungkapan ini kadang diperpanjang menjadi "Talk to the hand, because the ears ain't listening" atau "Talk to the hand, because the face ain't listening."[3]

Contoh penggunaan

  • Agnes Monica dalam sinetron Ku T'lah Jatuh Cinta melakukan gestur ngomong sama tangan dalam salah satu adegannya.[4] Adegan tersebut dianggap sangat ikonik pada masanya dan turut memopulerkan ungkapan ngomong sama tangan di Indonesia.[5] Gambar bergerak format GIF untuk adegan ini tersedia di internet.[6]
  • Ngomong sama tangan dalam emosikon dapat disampaikan dengan gabungan tanda >=/ .[7]
  • Ungkapan ngomong sama tangan pernah digunakan oleh Prilly Latuconsina untuk menanggapi sindiran.[8]
  • Ungkapan ngomong sama tangan digunakan dalam novel Young Adult: A Week Long Journey[9] dan banyak novel lainnya.
