Keraton Kadariah Pontianak

Keraton Kadariah (Keraton Qadriah) adalah istana Kesultanan Pontianak yang dibangun pada dari tahun 1771 sampai 1778 masehi. Sayyid Syarif Abdurrahman Al-qadrie adalah sultan pertama yang mendiami istana tersebut. Keraton ini berada di dekat pusat Kota Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat. Sebagai cikal-bakal lahirnya Kota Pontianak, Keraton Qadriah menjadi salah satu objek wisata sejarah. Dalam perkembanganya, keraton ini terus mengalami proses renovasi dan rekrontuksi hingga menjadi bentuk yang sekarang ini.[1]

Sejarah

Keberadan keraton Kadariah tidak lepas dari sosok Sayyid Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadrie (1738-1808M), yang masa mudanya telah mengunjungi berbagai daerah di Nusantara dan melakukan kontak dagang dari para Saudagar di berbagai Negara.[2] Ketika Habib Husein Alkadrie, yang pernah menjadi Hakim agama kerajaan Matan dan ulama terkemuka di Kerajaan Mempawah, wafat pada tahun 1770M, Syarif Abdurrahman beserta keluarganya memutuskan untuk mencari daerah pemukiman baru. sampai pada tanggal 23 oktober 1771M (24 Rajab 1181H), mereka tiba di daerah dekat pertemuan tiga sungai, yaitu sungai Landak, Sungai Kapuas kecil dan Sungai Kapuas. mereka memutuskan untuk menetap didaerah tersebut[3]

Bagian dalam Keraton Kadariah Pontianak

Secara historis Keraton Kadariah mulai dibangun pada tahun 1771M dan baru selesai pada tahun 1778M. Tak lama setelah Keraton selesai dibangun Sayyid Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadri di nobatkan sebagai sultan pertama Kesultanan Pontianak. Dalam perkembanganya, keraton ini terus mengalami proses renovasi dan rekonstruksi hingga menjadi bentuk yang sekarang ini.[3]

Bentuk Bangunan

Struktur bangunan Keraton Kadariah terbuat dari kayu pilihan. Pada bagian depan, tengah, dan kiri depan Keraton kita dapat melihat 13 meriam kuno buatan Portugis dan Prancis. Sebuah ruangan berupa mimbar yang menjorok kedepan yang dulunya digunakan Sultan sebagai tempat peristirahatan atau untuk sekadar untuk menikmati keindahan pemandangan sungai kapuas dan sungai landak. di ruangan ini juga kita dapat melihat Genta, sebuah alat yang dulunya dipakai untuk penanda adanya marabahaya. Pada aula utama keraton ini juga terdapat cermin antik dari Prancis yang oleh masyarakat setempat disebut "Kaca Seribu".[4] Di dalam Keraton seperti halnya Keraton-keraton melayu lainya yang didominasi oleh warna Kuning. Keraton Kadariah juga masih memiliki koleksi benda- benda bersejarah yang cukup lengkap seperti beragam perhiasan yang digunakan secara turun temurun, benda-benda kuno seperti benda pusaka dan artefak, barang pecah belah, foto keluarga Sultan dan arca- arca.[5] Beberapa ruangan pribadi milik keluarga kesultanan juga dibuka untuk umum, walaupun terdapat beberapa larangan ketika pengunjung luar memasukinya.[6]

Akses

Letaknya yang berada di pusat kota memudahkan wisatawan untuk mengunjunginya. Akses ke keraton ini dapat dilalui dengan jalur darat ataupun jalur sungai. Jika menggunakan jalur darat anda dapat menggunakan kendaraan roda dua ataupun roda empat sedangkan jika menggunakan jalur sungai anda dapat menggunakan perahu atau speedboat dari pelabuhan Senghie.[6]
