Страж

Страж (староцерк.-слов. стражь — відповідає східнослов'янській повноголосній формі «сторож») — термін, що має кілька значень:

  • Страж — особа (переважно озброєна), яка стереже, охороняє від нападу, ворожих дій[1].
  • Страж — той, хто захищає, оберігає, пильно стежить за недоторканністю чогось[1].
  • Страж — у застарілому вжитку означає «сторожа, варта» («держати страж»)[2].
  • БМПТ «Страж» — дослідна українська бойова машина підтримки танків на шасі танка Т-64.
