Waikato Bölgesi (İngilizce: Waikato Region), Yeni Zelanda'nın bölgelerinden biridir.[3] Bölge, Kuzey Adası'nın kuzey orta kesiminde yer almaktadır. Yüzölçümü 25,000 km² olan bölgenin nüfusu Haziran 2018 tarihi itibarı ile 521,500'dür.[2] Bölgenin merkezi Hamilton'dır.

İdari bölümler

Waikato Bölgesi, Hamilton şehri ile Waikato, South Waikato, Waipa, Thames-Coromandel, Matamata-Piako, Otorohanga, Hauraki ve kısmen Waitomo, Taupo ve Rotorua ilçeleri olmak üzere 11 bölgesel otoriteye ayrılmaktadır.
