Ulusal Birlik (Ermenistan)

Ulusal Birlik (Ermenice: Ազգային միաբանություն, Azgayin Miabanutyun) Ermenistan'da muhafazakâr bir[1] siyasî partidir. Şu anda Artashes Geghamyan tarafından yönetiliyor.

Tarih

25 Mayıs 2003 tarihinde yapılan parlamento seçimlerinde parti, halk oylarının %8,8'ini ve Ermenistan Millet Meclisi'ndeki 131 sandalyenin 9'unu kazandı. 2003 cumhurbaşkanlığı seçimlerinde Geghamyan ilk turda oyların %6.9'unu aldı, ancak elendi. 2007 parlamento seçimlerinde, parti %3,58'lik bir halk oyu alarak sandalye kazanamadı. Parti, 2007 yılından bu yana hiçbir parlamento seçimine katılmadı.

Şubat 2008 cumhurbaşkanlığı seçimlerinde yine Ulusal Birlik Partisi'nin adayı olan Geghamyan, nihaî resmî sonuçlara göre oyların %0,27'si ile yedinci oldu.[2]

İdeoloji

Parti, Ermeni ekonomisinin güçlendirilmesini, azınlık haklarının korunmasını, Avrupa entegrasyonunun derinleştirilmesini ve Rusya dahil diğer Bağımsız Devletler Topluluğu üyeleriyle yakın ilişkilerin sürdürülmesini savunuyor. Parti ayrıca Ermenistan'ı Kolektif Güvenlik Anlaşması Örgütü ve Avrasya Birliği içinde tutmanın yanı sıra ABD ve NATO ile daha derin ilişkiler geliştirmeye de inanıyor. Ancak parti, Ermenistan'da herhangi bir NATO barış gücünün konuşlandırılmasına karşı çıkıyor.[3][4]

Parti ayrıca Ermenistan'ın komşularıyla barışın tesisine ve Dağlık Karabağ sorununun barışçıl yollarla çözülmesine inanıyor.[5]
