Etimesgut Belediyesi bünyesindeki diğer müzeler

Türk Tarih Müzesi ve Parkı; Ankara'nın Etimesgut ilçesinde bulunan, 29 Ağustos 2021 tarihinde beri hizmet veren bir açık hava müzesidir.

Ergenekon'dan Cumhuriyet'in ilanına kadar geçen sürede Türk dünyasından tarihsel kişiliklerin heykellerini içerir. Müze kompleksi, 54.000 metrekaresi açık olmak üzre yaklaşık yaklaşık 60.000 metrekarelik bir alana yayılmıştır.

Etimesgut Belediyesi'nin girişimleriyle kurulan müzede 206 heykel vardır. Heykeller, Etimesgut Belediyesi Heykel ve Seramik Atölyesi’nde çeşitli sanatçılar tarafından yapılmış;[2] projenin yürütücülüğünü heykeltraş Alper Çınar gerçekleştirmiştir.[3]

16 Türk devleti kurucularının, Selçuklu sultanlarının, Osmanlı padişahlarının, Kurtuluş Savaşı komutanlarının, Cumhuriyet dönemi bilim insanı, şair ve yazarlarının, Ortaçağ Türk-İslam düşünürlerini, Türk Cumhuriyetleri’ni temsil eden yazar ve düşünürlerin heykelleri ile Ergenekon Destanı, Kürşat ve 40 çerisi, İstanbul’un fethi, Kurtuluş Savaşı ve Çanakkale Savaşı kompozisyonları yer almaktadır. Parkta 5 farklı Atatürk heykeli bulunur.[2]

Parkta heykellerin yanı sıra 8 Türk Yazıtı kopyası, 4 panoramik resmi, 3 Frig kabartması ile 40.000 kitap kapasitesine sahip kütüphane, 80 metrekarelik kapalı sergi salonu ve 650 kişilik konferans salonu bulunmakta bulunmaktadır.[4]

Müzenin girişinde Bilge Kağan ve eşi İl-İtmiş Bilge Hatun'un heykelleri bulunur.[5]
