Koçari

Koçari (Azerice: Köçəri; Ermenice: Քոչարի, Yunanca: Κότσαρι, Kürtçe: Koçerî), Kars ve Artvin yöresinde oyuncuların birbirlerini omuzlarından tutup, halka oluşturarak 2/4 ritminde oynadığı bir horon türüdür.

Etimoloji

Ermenicede "Kochari" "diz gel" anlamına gelir. Գուճ (gudj veya goudj) "diz" olarak ve արի (ari) "gel" anlamına gelir.[1]

Azerbaycan Türkçesinde "köç" hem fiil hem de isim olarak kullanılan "hareket etmek" anlamındadır[2] ve ikincisi daha çok göçebelerin seyahati manasında kullanılır. "Köçəri" aynı zamanda hem bir sıfat hem de bir isimdir.[3] Kürtçe de ise "koçer", "göçebe" anlamına gelir ve dolayısıyla "Koçerî" terimi, Türkçeden ödünç alınan "göçebe" manasındadır.[4]

Pontus Yunancasında, Yunanca "κότσι" (Pontus Yunancasında "κοτς") "topuk" anlamına gelir (Orta Çağ Yunancası "κόττιον" aynı anlama gelir) ve Yunanlar topuğu dansçının ayağının ana kısmı kabul ettiklerinden "yükseltmek" anlamına gelen "αίρω", hep birlikte "topuğu kaldırmak" manasındadır.

Türleri

Dansçıların zıplayan keçileri taklit ettiği grup dansına koçari denir. Dansçılar yan yana dururlar, birbirlerinin ellerini tutarlar. Dansın temposu orta ila hızlı arasında değişir. Hayali bir rakibe karşı çömelme ve tokat atmanın ardından yüksek atlamalar gelir.[5]

Ermeni

Ermeniler bin yılı aşkın bir süredir Koçari dansını yapıyorlar.[6] Dans hem erkekler hem de kadınlar tarafından yapılır ve korkutucu olması amaçlanır. Koçari'nin daha modern formları, tüm vücudu sallamayı içeren bir "tremolo adımı" eklemiştir. Ermeni soykırımından sonra Ermenistan'ın doğu kısmına yayılmıştır. Ermeni Koçarisi, 2017 yılında UNESCO'nun Acil Korunması Gereken Somut Olmayan Kültürel Miras Listesi'ne dahil edilmiştir.[7]

Azeri

Bugün bu oyun, Şarur, Sadarak, Kangarlı, Culfa ve Şahbuz bölgelerinin folklor kolektiflerinin bulunduğu Nahçıvan topraklarında görülmekte ve düğünlerde oynanmaktadır.[8] Koçari, tenzere ile birlikte Yallı dansının versiyonları olarak Kasım 2018'de UNESCO'nun Acil Korunması Gereken Somut Olmayan Kültürel Miraslar listesine dahil edilmiştir.[9]

Pontus Rum Kόtsari

Pontus Rumları ve Ermenilerinin Koçari gibi pek çok güçlü, savaşa benzer dansları vardır.[10]

Çoğu Pontus dansının aksine, Kotsari eşit bir ritimdedir (2,4), orijinalinde kapalı bir daire içinde dans ederlerdi.[11]
