Kazakistan'da intihar

Kazakistan'da intihar, ülkede doğal olmayan ölümlerin yaygın bir nedenidir ve uzun vadeli bir sosyal konudur. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü'nün 2017 raporuna göre, her yıl dünya çapında intihar nedeniyle öldüğü bildirilenlerin %3.55'i Kazakistan'a aittir.[1] Genç yaştaki intiharlar ülkede büyük bir sorundur.[2] İntihar, Kazakistan'da her 100.000'de 27.74 oranında görülüyor.

İstatistikler

Ülke, 15 ila 19 yaşlarındaki kızlar arasında en çok kaydedilen intihar sayısına ve erkekler için Rusya'dan sonra en yüksek ikinci intihar oranına sahiptir. UNICEF 2009 raporu, 1999 ile 2008 arasında ülkedeki gençler arasında intihar sayısının %23 arttığını gösteriyor.[3]

Ülke eğitim bakanlığının çocuk koruma komitesi başkanı Raisa Sher'a göre, genç yaştaki insanlar arasında bu tür yüksek intihar oranlarının arkasında birkaç faktör var, bunlar:[3]

  • Akran zorbalığı
  • Değerlerin yokluğu veya kaybı
  • Düşen sosyal davranış standartları
  • Yabancılaştırma

Gençlerde intihar

UNICEF ve Dünya Sağlık Örgütü verilerine göre, Kazakistan 15 ila 19 yaşları arasındaki insanlar arasında en yüksek intihar düzeyine sahiptir.[6]

1700 genç ile beş Kazakistan şehrinde yapılan UNICEF araştırmasına göre, gençlerin intiharının başlıca nedenleri arasında sosyal sorunlar, aile sorunları ve destek eksikliği vardı. Araştırmaya göre, Kazakistanlı ebeveynler çocuklarıyla günde sadece 20 dakikalık 'kaliteli zaman' geçiriyorlar.[7]
