Ang Tiers (Italyano: Tires) ay isang comune (komuna o munisipalidad) sa lalawigan ng Lalawigang Awtonomo ng Bolzano, rehiyon ng Trentino-Alto Adigio, hilagang Italya, na matatagpuan sa Tierser Tal mga 15 kilometro (9 mi) silangan ng lungsod ng Bolzano.
Heograpiya
Noong Nobyembre 30, 2010, mayroon itong populasyon na 979 at may lawak na 42.1 kilometro kuwadrado (16.3 mi kuw).[3]
May hangganan ang mga tier sa mga sumusunod na munisipalidad: Kastelruth, Karneid, Völs am Schlern, Welschnofen, Campitello di Fassa, Mazzin, at Sèn Jan di Fassa.
Kasaysayan
Ang unang dokumento tungkol sa Tiers ay nagsimula noong 993/94–1005: sa isang tradisyong tala ng diyosesis ng Frisinga, inilipat ng Konde ng Baviera na si Oton mula sa pamilya Rapoton, bukod sa iba pang mga bagay, ang kaniyang ari-arian sa "Tieres" kay Obispo Gottschalk ng Frisinga.[4]
