Dionisi i Halikarnasit

Dionisi i Halikarnasit, (lat. : Dionysi Halicarnassesis, jetoi në I-rë p.e.s - I-rë), ishte dijetar i lashtë helen nga Halikarnasi i Karisë. Jetën e tij e kaloi kryesisht në Romë në kohën e Augustit. Dionisi nga studiuesit e dijetarëve të antikës vlerësohet si një dijetar i cili në veprat e tij mundohet të plotësoi Polibin për periudhën e kohës më të lashtë.

Përndryshe ai shkroi veprën Romaiki arheologia në latinishte e njohur si Antiquitatum Romanarum (Historia e vjetër e Romës) një përmbledhje prej 20 librash. Po ashtu Dionisi shkroi edhe copa me karakter retoriko-letra të titulluara Opuscula.

Në krijimtarinë e Dionisit gjejmë disa të dhëna me interes për pellazgët dhe fshatrat e Pirros në Italin e asaj kohe.
