Lyle Ritz
Lyle Joseph Ritz (10. januar 1930 –3. mars 2017 ) var ein USA-amerikansk musikar, kjend for å spele ukulele og bass (både kontrabass og bassgitar ). Tidleg i karrieren spelte han jazz som ukulelespelar i musikkmiljøet på Hawaii i 1950-åra. I 1960-åra hadde han byrja å arbeide som studiomusikar, som regel då på bass. Han vart etter kvart ein del av gruppa av studiomusikarar i Los Angeles kalla The Wrecking Crew . Ritz bidrog på mange pophittar i USA frå 1960- til 1980-åra.
Ritz spelte mellom anna på Herb Alpert sin «A Taste of Honey », The Righteous Brothers sin «You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' » og The Beach Boys sin «Good Vibrations ». Andre kjende artistar han spelte for var mellom andre Sonny & Cher , The Monkees , Herb Ohta , Dean Martin og Linda Ronstadt . Han spelte òg bass på musikk til fjernsynsseriar som The Rockford Files , Name That Tune og Kojak .
