Споменик на Јустинијан I

Поглед кон споменикот

Споменикот на Јустинијан I — монументален мермерен споменик во Скопје, подигнат во чест на византискиот цар Јустинијан I, роден во Скопско. Бил најавен како дел од т.н. проект Скопје 2014 и бил поставен на 16 јуни 2011 година.[1]

Споменикот се наоѓа на десната страна од кејот на Вардар во близина на Камениот Мост, на местото на кое се забавувале скејтерите. Скулптурата е изработена од бел мермер со висина од 5 метри. Поставена е на постамент изработен од бел мермер со висина од 3,50 метри. На постаментот има бронзени релјефи со површина од 10,5 м2. Автор на делото е Роза Павлеска, а изработувач е уметничката галерија Пјетро Базанти е Фиљо (Pietro Bazzanti & Figlio) и уметничката леарница Фердинандо Маринели (Ferdinando Marinelli) од Фиренца, Италија. Цената на нарачаната скулптура била 75.640.000 денари, односно нешто повеќе од милион евра.
