Juozas Sigitas Paransevičius

Juozas Sigitas Paransevičius (lenk. Józef Sygit Forencewicz, g. 1941 m. kovo 5 d. Paliūnų kaime, Lenkijoje, dab. Palenkės vaivadijos Seinų apskrities Punsko valsčiuje) – pedagogas ir Lenkijos lietuvių visuomenės veikėjas.

Biografija

Pradinę mokyklą lankė Pristavonyse. 1950 m. Lenkijos administracinė valdžia šeimą perkėlė į Mislibožo apskritį, po to kelis kartus privertė kilnotis iš vienos vieti į kitą, kol 1956 m. buvo leista grįžti į gimtuosius Paliūnus. Mokslus tęsė Suvalkų, vėliau Punsko bendrojo lavinimo licėjuose. Nuo 1959 m. studijavo Elko mokytojų seminarijoje, vėliau Varšuvos fizinės kultūros akademijoje.

Grįžęs į Punską, dirbo licėjaus mokytoju, 1970–1984 m. ir nuo 1985 m. – jo direktoriumi. 1981–1984 m. Punsko mokyklų komplekso direktorius. Nuo 1963 m. Lenkijos jungtinės darbininkų partijos narys. Paruošė pedagoginės metodinės medžiagos, lietuvių kalbos vadovėlį VII klasei.

Aktyviai reiškėsi Lenkijos lietuvių visuomeniniame gyvenime, spaudoje. Kelių knygų sudarytojas ir redaktorius). Daug prisidėjo prie lietuvių kultūros paminklų Lenkijoje išsaugojimo. Ilgametis (1972 – 1981 m.) Lenkijos lietuvių visuomeninės kultūros draugijos pirmininkas, vėliau Lenkijos lietuvių bendruomenės valdybos pirmininkas.
