კოჯრის ციხე

აგარათა ციხე, კოჯრის ციხე, ქოროღლის ციხე — ციხესიმაგრე თბილისში, დაბა კოჯორში, ისტორიულ აგარანში, აზეულას მთის ქიმზე. იცავდა გამავალ საქარავნო გზას, რომელიც ერთმანეთთან აკავშირებდა თბილისსა და სომხითს,

სახელწოდება

ისტორიულ წყაროებში ხშირად მოიხსენიება აგრეთვე როგორც „აგარათა ციხე“. კოჯრის ციხე ამავე სახელწოდებით ნახსენებია ქარეთულ ეპოსში „ეთერიანი“. ვახუშტი ბატონიშვილის მიხედვით, ამ ციხეს ადრე აზეულას ციხე ერქვა. ერთ-ერთი გადმოცემით კოჯრის ციხეში იყო შეხიზნული ლეგენდარული გმირი ქოროღლი. ამიტომაა, რომ ამ ციხეს ზოგჯერ ქოროღლის ციხის სახელწოდებითაც იხსენიებენ. ეს სახელწოდება XVIII საუკუნიდან დამკვიდრდა

ისტორია

XI საუკუნის 60-იან წლებში ბაგრატ IV-მ აგარანი წაართვა ამირა ფადლონს. „დიდი თურქობის“ დროს (1080) ციხე მტერმა ჩაიგდო ხელში. 1118 წლის ივლისში დავით აღმაშენებელმა ალყა შემოარტყა აგარანს და ერთ დღეში აიღო, ხოლო 1123 წელს ივანე ორბელს უწყალობა. 1177 წელს აგარანში გამაგრდნენ გიორგი III-ის წინააღმდეგ აჯანყებული დიდგვარიანები. იმავე წელს მეფემ აგარანი აიღო. „აგარათა ციხე“ ქართველ მეფეთა საზაფხულო სადგომი იყო. აქ გარდაიცვალა თამარ მეფე.

XIII-XVII საუკუნეებში შეწყვეტილი იყო კოჯორში ზაფხულობით მეფეთა დგომის ტრადიცია. XV საუკუნიდან მას კოჯრის ციხე ეწოდებოდა და სოლაღაშვილებს ეკუთვნოდა. კოჯრის ციხე დიდად დააზიანა 1488 წელს იაყუბ ყაენის მიერ ლაშქარმა ხალილ-ბეგის მეთაურობით. მრავალრიცხოვანმა თურქმანმა მეთოფეებმა გამანადგურებელი ცეცხლი გაუხსნეს ქართველ მეციხოვნეებს. სოლაღაშვილების მცირერიცხოვან მეციხოვნეებს მაშველი ძალა არ ჰყავდათ და ხანგრძლივი ბრძოლის შემდეგ დატოვეს ციხე-სიმაგრე.[1]

1625 წელს მარაბდის ბრძოლაში ქართველების დამარცხების შემდეგ ბრძოლა გაგრძელდა კოჯრის მიდამოებში, სადაც ქართველებმა დიდი ზიანი მიაყენეს ყიზილბაშებს. XVII საუკუნეში როსტომ მეფემ კვლავ აქცია კოჯრის ციხე მეფეთა საზაფხულო რეზიდენციად. აქვე ჰქონდათ მარნები, სადაც ღვინოებს ეზიდებოდნენ ქვემო ქართლის სოფლებიდან. კოჯორში იყო, აგრეთვე ქართველ მეფეთა მთავარი საჯინიბოები. გადმოცემის მიხედვით კოჯრის ციხეს აფარებდა თავს ქართველი გმირი ქალი თინა წავკისელი.

არქიტექტურა

შემორჩენილია გალავნისა და მის სამხრეთ-დასავლეთ და ჩრდილო-აღმოსავლეთ ბოლოებში მდგარი ორი კოშკის ნანგრევები. ციხესიმაგრე ნაგებია ნატეხი ქვითა და აგურით. მრავალჯერ არის შეკეთებული და განახლებული. მისი უძველესი ფენა არა უგვიანეს XI საუკუნის II ნახევრით თარიღდება, ხოლო დღემდე მოღწეული კედლის ფრაგმენტები XVI-XVIII სს თარიღდება.
