Malachi Lawrence (Louisville, 21 luglio 2003) è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di defensive end per i Dallas Cowboys della National Football League (NFL).

Primi anni

Lawrence frequentò la duPont Manual High School di Louisville, nel Kentucky, dove giocò come linebacker e tight end. Al termine delle scuole superiori si impegnò a giocare a football per la University of Central Florida.[1]

Carriera universitaria

Lawrence giocò a UCF dal 2021 al 2025.[2] Nelle prime due stagioni dispute complessivamente tre partite, con 2 tackle e 0,5 sack. Nel 2023 disputò tutte le 13 partite, con 27 placcaggi e 7,5 sack.[3] Nel 2024 giocò titolare 10 gare su 11, con 15 tackle e 5 sack.[4][5] Nel 2025 disputò come partente tutte le 12 partite, con 28 tackle e 7 sack, venendo inserito nella formazione ideale della Big 12 Conference.[6][7]

Carriera professionistica

Lawrence fu scelto dai Dallas Cowboys nel corso del primo giro (23º assoluto) del Draft NFL 2026.[8]
