Omar Cooper Jr. (Indianapolis, 14 dicembre 2003) è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di wide receiver per i New York Jets della National Football League (NFL).

Carriera universitaria

Nella sua prima stagione a Indiana nel 2022, Cooper disputò 4 spezzoni di partita, senza fare registrare alcuna ricezione.[1] L'anno seguente ricevette 18 passaggi per 267 yard e 2 touchdown.[2] Nel quinto turno della stagione 2024 ricevette 4 passaggi per 83 yard e un touchdown nella vittoria su Maryland.[3] Chiuse l'annata con 28 ricezioni per 594 yard e 7 marcature.[4]

Nel terzo turno della stagione 2025, Cooper ricevette 10 passaggi per 207 yard e 4 touchdown (record dell'istituto pareggiato) nella vittoria per 73–0 su Indiana State.[5] L'8 novembre, nella gara contro Penn State al Beaver Stadium, ricevette dal quarterback Fernando Mendoza il touchdown della vittoria negli istanti finali. Fu la prima vittoria di sempre degli Hoosiers contro Penn State.[6] Chiuse l'annata con 69 ricezioni per 937 yard e 13 touchdown e fu il miglior ricevitore di Indiana che conquistò il suo primo titolo nazionale.[7] A fine anno optò per passare tra i professionisti.[7]
