"(Love the Way You Lie (Part II" (בעברית: "אוהבת את הדרך בה אתה משקר (חלק 2)") הוא שיר של הזמרת הברבדית ריהאנה, שנכלל באלבום האולפן החמישי שלה, Loud, בהשתתפות הראפר האמריקאי אמינם, שכתב את השיר, יחד עם סקיילר גריי והמפיק אלכס דה קיד. זהו שיר ההמשך לסינגל "Love the Way You Lie" משנת 2010, המופיע באלבום האולפן השביעי של אמינם, Recovery. השיר זכה לביקורות חיוביות מצד המבקרים ובוצע בטקס פרסי המוזיקה האמריקאית לשנת 2010 ב-21 בנובמבר 2010, כחלק ממיקס עם "What's My Name?" ו-"(Only Girl (In the World".

רקע

בעקבות יציאתו והצלחתו המסחרית של Love the Way You Lie בשנת 2010 רצה אמינם להקליט גרסה אלטרנטיבית עם ריהאנה כסולנית הראשית, תוך צפייה בהיבטים של מערכת יחסים מנקודת מבט נשית, בניגוד למקור, שהציג את אמינם כסולן המוביל, והיה מנקודת מבט גברית.[1] בראיון ל-MTV, ריהאנה הצהירה בתחילה שהיא מתנגדת לשיר המשך: "כששמעתי לראשונה את הרעיון לגבי ביצוע חלק שני, הייתי נגד זה. פשוט הרגשתי שאתה לא יכול לנצח את 'המקור'. אין סיכוי שנצליח להתעלות על זה, אז למה להתחרות בזה?". לדבריה, כששמעה את הדגימה הראשונית של השיר באולפן עם אמינם, ששרה הזמרת-יוצרת האמריקאית סקילאר גריי, הסתייגויותיה מהקלטתו נעלמו. בעוד שהדגימה לוותה רק בפסנתר, ריהאנה וצוותה הוסיפו תופים, ובית נוסף לאמינם.[2]

הצלחה במצעדים

גם הגרסה המקורית וגם גרסת הפסנתר של (Love the Way You Lie (Part II לא היו זמינים לרכישה בנפרד ברוב חנויות iTunes, וניתן היה לקנות אותן רק יחד עם מהדורת ה-iTunes של האלבום.[6] השיר נכנס לראשונה למצעד קנדה הוט 100 במשך השבוע של ה-4 בדצמבר 2010, במקום ה-19,[7] ושהה במצעד במשך שמונה שבועות.[8] בדרום קוריאה השיר הגיע בשיאו למקום הרביעי במצעד הבינלאומי.[9] השיר מוקם לראשונה במקום ה-160 במצעד הסינגלים הבריטי בעקבות הצלחה במכירות הדיגיטליות, עם צאתו של Loud.[10]

ריהאנה ביצעה גרסה מקוצרת של השיר במסגרת מיקס עם What's My Name? ו-(Only Girl (In the World בטקס פרסי המוזיקה האמריקאית לשנת 2010 ב-21 בנובמבר 2010.[11] ריהאנה פתחה את ההופעה בגרסת אקפלה ל-(Love The Way You Lie (Part II.

ריהאנה ואמינם ביצעו את השיר יחד לראשונה בטקס פרסי גראמי ה-53 ב-13 בפברואר 2011, במסגרת מיקס עם "I Need a Doctor" בביצוע אמינם, ד"ר דרה, סקיילר גריי ואדם לוין, שביצעו קולות רקע. ההופעה התחילה בכך שריהאנה שרה על בימת מרכז הקהל בליווי אדם לוין. לאחר מכן הופיע אמינם על הבמה המרכזית כדי לבצע את החלק שלו בשיר, בעוד שריהאנה התקדמה מבימת מרכז הקהל והצטרפה אליו. לאחר מכן התחלף השיר ל-I Need a Doctor.[12] השיר אף נכלל בחלק ההדרן בסיבוב ההופעות "Loud Tour", של ריהאנה, יחד עם Umbrella.[13] ריהאנה ביצעה את (Love the Way You Lie (Part II ב-Radio 1's Hackney Weekend ב-24 במאי 2012, כשיר השמיני ברשימת ההשמעה של האלבום.[14]
