Ants Üleoja XI noorte laulu- ja tantsupeol (2011)

Ants Üleoja (sündinud 19. novembril 1936 Ida-Viru maakonnas Oonurme külas) on eesti koorijuht.

Haridus

Ta lõpetas 1956. aastal Tartu Muusikakooli koorijuhtimise erialal ja 1961. aastal Tallinna Riikliku Konservatooriumi.

Töökäik

Ta töötas muusikaõpetajana Sindi Gümnaasiumis ja Tallinna 16. Keskkoolis, 1964–1968 Tallinna Muusikakoolis. 1972. aastast on ta Tallinna Riikliku Konservatooriumi õppejõud (1979. aastast dotsent), praegu Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia emeriitprofessor.

Ta on juhatanud paljusid koore, sealhulgas Eesti Televisiooni ja Raadio Segakoori (peadirigendina), Vabariiklikku Koorijuhtide Segakoori, TPI Akadeemilist Meeskoori, Tallinna Kammerkoori ja Inseneride Meeskoori. Ta on olnud Eesti Rahvusmeeskoori peadirigent.

Ta oli üks XIX ja XX üldlaulupeo ning 1972., 1977., 1982. ja 1987. aasta koolinoorte laulupeo üldjuhte. Ta on aastaid olnud Gaudeamuse üliõpilaslaulupidudel Eesti kooride üldjuht. Ta on koostanud koorilaulukogumikke.
