Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Examples should specifically be attributed to sources that do not fall under self-sourcing examples. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited that are not a primary source, and that discuss the example's significance in the context of the topic of the article. Thank you.
| This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-refexample}}. Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
{{subst:Uw-refexample}}{{subst:Uw-refexample|Article}} references a specific article{{subst:Uw-refexample|Article|Additional text}} adds text onto the end of the messagePlease remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-refexample}} rather than {{Uw-refexample}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
