The Belgian ambassador to Peru is the highest representative of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Peru. The ambassador is also accredited to Bolivia and Ecuador.
Both countries established relations in the 19th century. The Belgian embassy in Lima is located in the district of Miraflores. Belgium maintained an ambassadorial residence in the district of Jesús María[1] until it moved to Barranco in 2021.[2]
The new Belgian Ambassador to Peru, Ronald Watteeuw, accompanied by Mme. Watteeuw, arrives at Callaoarrives at Callao February 25 on board the M.V. "Donizetti". M. Watteeuw, 56, born in Sydney, was previously ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
