Halmaheramys is a genus of rodent in the family Muridae endemic to the Moluccas, Indonesia.

It contains the following species:^[1][2]

• Spiny Boki Mekot rat (Halmaheramys bokimekot)
• Wallace's large spiny rat (Halmaheramys wallacei)
