Die Färöische Fußballmeisterschaft der Frauen 2022 war die 38. Saison der höchsten färöischen Fußballliga der Frauen. Die Liga heißt offiziell Betrideildin nach dem Hauptsponsor Betri Banki. Sie startete am 20. März 2022 mit dem Spiel zwischen TB/FC Suðuroy/Royn und Víkingur Gøta und endete am 22. Oktober 2022.

Aufsteiger TB/FC Suðuroy/Royn war der 32. Teilnehmer seit dem Beginn der höchsten Spielklasse. Meister wurde Titelverteidiger KÍ Klaksvík, die den Titel somit zum vierten Mal in Folge und zum 22. Mal insgesamt erringen konnten.

Im Vergleich zur Vorsaison verbesserte sich die Torquote auf 4,75 pro Spiel, was den höchsten Schnitt seit 2015 bedeutete. Den höchsten Sieg erzielte NSÍ Runavík durch ein 17:0 im Gastspiel gegen TB/FC Suðuroy/Royn am dreizehnten Spieltag, was zugleich das torreichste Spiel darstellte.

Modus

In der Betrideildin spielte jede Mannschaft an 21 Spieltagen jeweils drei Mal gegen jede andere. Die punktbeste Mannschaft am Saisonende stand als Meister dieser Liga fest.

Saisonverlauf

EB/Streymur/Skála sowie KÍ Klaksvík gewannen jeweils ihre ersten drei Spiele. Im direkten Duell am vierten Spieltag setzte sich KÍ im Heimspiel mit 3:1 gegen EBS/Skála durch. Nach der 0:2-Heimniederlage von EBS/Skála gegen NSÍ Runavík am achten Spieltag wuchs der Abstand zu KÍ Klaksvík auf vier Punkte an. Am elften Spieltag kam es zum Rückspiel, bei dem sich EB/Streymur/Skála mit 1:0 durchsetzen konnte. Dies sollte die einzige Niederlage für den Spitzenreiter bleiben. EBS/Skála hingegen verlor die nächsten fünf Partien in Folge, darunter auch 0:3 bei KÍ am 16. Spieltag. Die Meisterschaft stand schließlich am 19. Spieltag nach einem 4:0-Auswärtssieg von KÍ Klaksvík gegen Víkingur Gøta fest.
