Pseudanthias squamipinnis és una espècie de peix de la família dels serrànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 15 cm de longitud total.^[2][3]

Reproducció

És hermafrodita.^[4][5][6]

Alimentació

Menja zooplàncton.^[7]

Depredadors

És depredat per Cephalopholis argus, Cephalopholis hemistiktos i Cephalopholis miniata.^[8]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu fins als 55 m de fondària.^[2][9]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de la Mar Roja^[10][11] i Sud-àfrica (KwaZulu-Natal)^[12] fins a Niue,^[13] Japó i Austràlia.^{[14][15][2][16]}
