হাশ পাপিস হল একটি মার্কিন মার্কার নৈমিত্তিক পাদুকা। উলভেরিন ওয়ার্ল্ড ওয়াইডের একটি বিভাগ, হাস পাপিসের সদর দফতর রকফোর্ড, মিশিগানে অবস্থিত। উলভেরিন এছাড়াও পোশাক, খেলনা এবং আনুষাঙ্গিক জন্য হাশ পাপিস নামের লাইসেন্স নেয়।[১]

হাশ পাপিস তার লোগোতে জেসন[২] নামে একটি ব্যাসেট হাউন্ড কুকুর ব্যবহার করে; বাসেট হাউন্ডকে মাঝে মাঝে এই কারণে "হাশ কুকুরছানা" হিসাবে উল্লেখ করা হয়।[৩]

হাশ পাপিস মার্কাটি ১৯৫৮ সালে মার্কিন সামরিক বাহিনীর জন্য দস্তানা এবং অন্যান্য প্রতিরক্ষামূলক উপকরণ ব্যবহার করার জন্য শূকরের চামড়া ট্যানিংয়ের একটি ব্যবহারিক পদ্ধতি বিকাশের জন্য উলভেরিনের ব্যাপক কাজের পরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। শূকরের চামড়া নরম এবং নমনীয় ছিল, কিন্তু উলভেরিনের কাজের বুটগুলিতে ব্যবহার করার মতো যথেষ্ট শক্ত ছিল না; কোম্পানী শূকরের চামড়া থেকে একজোড়া নৈমিত্তিক জুতা একটি কমফোর্ট মার্কা হিসাবে বাজারে তৈরি করে।[১] নৈমিত্তিক জীবনধারা মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের যুদ্ধ-পরবর্তী শহরতলিতে ক্রমবর্ধমান আবেদন সৃষ্টি করেছিল; ১৯৫৯ সালের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে কোম্পানিটি তার প্রথম মিলিয়ন জোড়া তৈরি করেছিল এবং ১৯৬৩ সাল নাগাদ মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে প্রতি দশজন প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ব্যক্তির মধ্যে এক জোড়া হাশ পাপিস ছিল।[৪]
