Я́ўндэ[1] (фр.: Yaoundé) — сталіца і адзін з самых вялікіх гарадоў Камеруна. Колькасць жыхароў складае 1,4 млн чалавек. Адначасова з’яўляецца сталіцай правінцыі Цэнтральная-Паўднёвая. Горад размешчаны на ўзвышшах, у паўднёва-заходняй частцы краіны, на вышыні 730 м над узроўнем мора.

Горад быў заснаваны ў 1888 годзе нямецкімі гандлярамі слановай косткай. Пад час Першай сусветнай вайны горад быў акупаваны бельгійскімі войскамі. У 1922 годзе Яўндэ стаў сталіцай тэрыторыі падмандатнай Лізе Нацый, з французскай адміністрацыяй.

Пасля атрымання незалежнасці Камерунам Яўндэ стаў сталіцай краіны.

У наш час Яўндэ — гэта гандлёвы, прамысловы і культурны цэнтр, транспартны вузел Камеруну. Мае міжнародны аэрапорт, чыгунку, якая злучае горад з Нгаўндэрэ і Дуалай.

У горадзе знаходзяцца ўсе дзяржаўныя ўстановы Камеруну, замежныя пасольствы.

Геаграфічнае становішча і клімат

Яўндэ знаходзіцца ў паўднёва-ўсходняй частцы краіны, на Камерунскім пласкагор’і, на вышыні 750 метраў над узроўнем мора. Клімат субэкватарыяльны, сярэдняя тэмпература паветра ў студзені складае +23 °C, у ліпені +21 °C. Сярэнегадавая колькасць ападкаў — 1600 мм. Дажджы ідуць у асноўным у перыяды з верасня па лістапад і з красавіка па ліпень.
