An-24 təyyarəsinin Türkiyəyə qaçırılması — 1970-ci il oktyabrın 15-də SSRİ-də ilk uğurlu təyyarə qaçırma hadisəsi.[2]

Litvalı Pranas Brazinskas və onun 13 yaşlı oğlu Algirdas Antonov An-24 təyyarəsi ilə idarə olunan Aeroflot 244 reysi zamanı təyyarəni qaçırıblar. Təyyarə Batumi Hava Limanından Suxumi Hava Limanına gedirdi. Təyyarədə açılan atəş nəticəsində 19 yaşlı stüardessa Nadejda Kurçenko həlak olub və bir neçə ekipaj üzvü yaralanıb. Pranas Brazinskas təyyarədəki iki silahlı mühafizəçinin müqaviməti nəticəsində getdiyini bildirib.[3] Sovet mətbuatının yazdığına görə, münaqişə Brazinskas tərəfindən başlayıb və o, pilotları xəbərdar etmək üçün kabinəyə gedib, lakin kabinədə mühafizəçilər olmayıb. Təyyarəni qaçıranlar Türkiyənin Trabzon Hava Limanına endirərək Türkiyə hökumətinə təslim olublar.

Brazinskas mühakimə olundu və həbs edildi, lakin Türkiyə təyyarə qaçıranları Sovet hakimiyyətinə təhvil verməkdən imtina etdi. Sərnişinlər və təyyarə SSRİ-yə geri göndərildi. 4 il həbsdən sonra 1974-cü ildə əfv olunan Brazinskas əvvəlcə Venesuelaya, sonra isə ABŞ-yə getdi. Əvvəlcə həbs olundular, lakin sonradan onlara sığınacaq verildi.[4]

Sovet İttifaqı ABŞ-ni qatillərə sığınacaq verdiyinə görə qınadı və onların ekstradisiyasını tələb etdi. Sovet hökuməti 1991-ci ildə Sovet İttifaqı dağılana qədər Brazinskasın ekstradisiyası üçün və sosialist ölkələrinin təyyarələrinə hücum edən terrorçulara sığınacaq verməkdə Amerikanın riyakarlığı olduğunu iddia etdikləri hadisəyə mütəmadi olaraq təzyiq göstərməyə davam etdi. Sovet hökuməti Axille Lauro hadisəsindən də əl çəkmədi.[5]

2002-ci ildə Algirdas (indi Albert Viktor Vayt kimi tanınır) 77 yaşlı atası Pranası (indi Frank Uayt kimi tanınır) Santa Monikada məişət mübahisəsinə görə öldürüb.[4]
